Laine Romero-Alston is a strategist and movement advisor with more than two decades of experience advancing worker organizing, labor rights, and social justice across philanthropy, government, and civil society. She works to strengthen worker power through philanthropic collaboration, domestic and global labor movement infrastructure, and worker-centered policy and strategy development in partnership with movement leaders and funders across the U.S. and globally.
Cassandra is a philanthropic leader and strategist passionate about advancing worker power and economic justice for families and communities. She has led grantmaking, strategy development, and campaigns in partnership with movement leaders, funders, and advocacy organizations across the country.

No. WPFG is not a grantmaking institution and does not directly fund organizations or campaigns. WPFG is a collaborative of philanthropic partners working to strengthen coordination, strategy, and investment in worker power. While WPFG helps connect funders to emerging opportunities and supports aligned funding strategies, all grantmaking decisions are made independently by participating funders.
